Utah School Nurses,
Every Student Counts...Every Student has a Voice
Welcome back to another fabulous school year! As we work through this year my goal is to increase public awareness of the incredible work we do everyday. In order to achieve this goal, the Board and I have been working on increasing our social media presence through Facebook, twitter, and updating our web site. A simple way for you to participate is to like our Facebook page and to follow us on twitter. Please share our posts with your friends. Share your ideas for our web site. Congratulations to Kim Lowe and to Traci Hardell for being our TV stars and promoting school nursing through public media.
Every child deserves access to a school nurse every day. In order to make progress with this goal we as school nurses need to insert ourselves and educate administration, the school board, parents and students of the importance of school nursing and the incredible contributions we make by being a part of the school team.
Thank you for all of your hard work and the contributions you make to school nursing. Let’s make this year count. Stand up and be noticed. Stretch your comfort zones. Participate in spreading the word...School Nurses make a Difference.
